In today's episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with Emily Danuco, BSN, RN. Emily is currently working as a coordinator at the Kidney Transplant Department in a San Francisco, CA hospital. We delved into her inspiring journey of immigrating to the US in 1995 and her remarkable career as a nurse spanning nearly three decades.

During our conversation, Emily shared invaluable insights about the Philippine Nurses Association of America, Inc. (PNAA). She shed light on the association's rich history, emphasized the benefits of PNAA membership, and discussed the various outreach activities carried out by the organization to support Filipino-American nurses across the United States. With 53 chapters and over 4,000 members nationwide, PNAA plays a pivotal role in fostering community and professional development.

We also explored Emily's personal growth and leadership involvement in PNA Northern California and PNA of America over the past six years. Her experiences within these organizations have been immensely rewarding, shaping her into the exceptional leader she is today.
