Paul Harnett recently toed the line at the London Marathon...IN SKI BOOTS! Paul crushed the existing ski boot marathon world record by over 20 minutes finishing in a time of 5:30:27.
When he is not breaking world records, Paul spends his time working as a surgeon in London, England. He is a hip fracture specialist and often sees patients who have hip damage from running. The irony of this is not lost on Paul- running 42.2km in ski boots significantly increases your chance of sustaining an injury but Paul is someone who throws caution to the wind and just gets the shit done!
