Pia instantly became beauty pageant royalty in 2015 when she won the Miss Universe crown for the Philippines--only the third Filipino to do so in the pageant's history. Since then, she has continued to grow her acting and modeling career; become a UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador for Asia and the Pacific; and spoken openly about the importance of mental health and how she has overcome her own struggles. She is also the first Filipino and first beauty queen to have a wax figure in the prestigious Madame Tussauds Museum.
These days, she shares her crown through The Queens Community, an online platform that provides resources, such as podcasts, workbooks, and more, that are designed to empower women all over the world.
