EPISODE 39: Training for the Trials with Reed Fischer

On this episode of the Training for the Trials series Lauren and Abby chat with Reed Fischer. Reed is a professional runner with Tinman Elite + just signed his first professional contract with Coros. He will be making his marathon debut at the Trials in Atlanta and we're excited to see how he does. He's excelled at the half marathon distance, most recently running 61:37 and placing 2nd American behind Jared Ward at the Houston Half Marathon in January 2020. In our conversation we talk about his positive experience as a student-athlete at Drake, how he's navigated his most recent injury, how he feels about running his first 26.2 and what cereal he's loving right now
