The Future of Art || Business Basics w/ Jeremy Kobus

My mentor Jeremy Kobus came on the show to talk about designing businesses with humans in mind (instead of profit). We got a little bit sidetracked…but we promise it connects.

Self-Determined Education w/ Miriam Swords Kalk

My guest today is Miriam Swords Kalk, sister of our guest from Episode 6, Sam Kalk. This episode is a connection between some of the favorite subjects of previous episodes like Self-Determination Theory which we talked about with Sam, education which we have discussed with a lot of guests like Episode 14 with Coach Rudy, contextualized in human-centered design Ricardo Martins, Episode 13. All this to say… I am just very excited for this culmination of information.

    Judaism w/ Rabbi Baruch Hecht

    Judaism w/ Rabbi Baruch Hecht

My relationship to Judaism is not what you might expect with an episode title like this. I have been trying to steer my guests away from Judaism since I started this podcast, but that has caused me to live inauthentically within this space. Judaism was a driving force for my curiosity and ability to challenge the status quo growing up, so I decided to dive head first into the topic and how this culture brings about a narrative of mental and emotional healing and growth. Jump in to this episode if you are trying to cultivate curiosity, no matter what your faith background is.

    Trauma w/ Chris Jones

Trauma is a part of everyone's story. You shouldn't shy away from healing just because your trauma doesn't look like the person's next to you. Jump in to this shockingly lighthearted episode about a subject that seems very immense and dark.

The first step to addressing and healing your trauma is awareness. Go to my website to learn more about how I can help, or to reach out for more resources.

Great Q’s and Recommendations

As a guest and a listener, I have enjoyed EQ Book Club. Ryan asks good questions that come from a genuine place of learning and growing. He’s open and honest about his journey and wanting to help you on yours! Plus, it’s a great resource to hear of great books to further your own learning of Emotional Intelligence.

Loving it

Ryan’s got a great voice for podcasting and the topics he’s diving into are essential during these uncertain times (but also, anytime). First interview with Tayler was great, I’m looking forward to what’s next.
