Hello world. This is Esthme. I love classic poetry. I love to read poetry aloud. I need a hobby and this is my way to indulge myself. Hope you like it, but if you don't, it's ok, you don't have to listen. I'm just having fun.😊

I've been looking for a poetry podcast to listen to when i sleep for ages. This is the only one i've found that actually works for me!

Too quiet

You can’t hear the reader, even on the loudest setting. Yes, my iPhone has the audio safety setting on, but still, all other podcasts are plenty loud. I wanted to give this podcast a chance so I made a point of listening only when I’m in bed, when everything is quiet. The reader’s words still trail off and I can’t hear them.
I’m giving 2 stars because classic poetry is important and needs more of a presence in modern day. I still can’t accept podcasts being personal blogs; they must be judged by the standards of professional radio. Listen to a few NPR podcasts, notice what good audio sounds like, and try to replicate it. You don’t need to learn the basics of audio engineering. Just listen to the show before you post it, and correct the audio.
