eTown Time Capsule - The War and Treaty - Dom Flemons
This week in eTown, we travel back in time to last year to present a show featuring musical guests The War and Treaty, comprised of husband and wife duo Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter, along with "The American Songster" himself, Dom Flemons. Nick also has a chat with Mack Bailey, founder and executive director of Music Therapy of the Rockies, who discusses the role of music in healing trauma.

eTown - The Cactus Blossoms - Charlie Parr
This week on eTown, all our musical guests join us from "The Land of Ten Thousand Lakes" - Minnesota. The Cactus Blossoms are led by brothers, Jack and Page and perform their own flavor of alternative country music. Charlie Parr shares the bill and is joined by Nick, Helen and The eTones as they play some wonderful country blues tunes. Nick also has a sit-down with accomplished rock climber and climate activist, Tommy Caldwell.

Bluegrass legend Peter Rowan joins Nick, Helen, and the Etones at eTown this week to play some classic tunes as well as more recent originals.
Also on stage are the young, and super-talented, AJ Lee & Blue Summit who represent the healthy and vibrant future of Bluegrass Music.
In addition, Nick spends some extra time chatting with Peter as he shares stories from his nearly sixty years in the business and on the road.

This week in eTown, we see the return of venerable singer-songwriter Anders Osborne from New Orleans and the eTown debut of fresh-faced folk artist Willi Carlisle from the Ozarks. In addition, Nick has a chat with the subjects and co-directors of the film Porcelain War about the harsh realities of the war in Ukraine.

Also, Nick sits down with Rod Moraga to discuss the complexities of wildfires and home protection in an evolving environment affected by climate change.

Amazing music and guests
My wife and I live in Boulder, CO and so happy to have this amazing place called ETown in our backyard. It is absolutely our favorite place in Boulder. We have discovered so many musicians and socially responsible interview guests at the weekly variety radio shows/podcasts. We also attend the monthly Hippie Bluegrass Church sing alongs. Nick and Helen Forster have created a truly special and legendary place. Listen to these podcast shows and you too will be a big fan of ETown.
Keeping me going
Been a listener to E-town for years now, first on a local radio station and then online with podcasts when the station was bought by a “national conglomerate” and stopped carrying Etown.
With the pandemic and the loss of live music with friends and family this last year has been a tough one. This podcast brings back some of the joy of live shows and keeps my hopes going for days we can all be together again, sitting outside, and enjoying a concert together.
