Everybody Church is a global community for people who have been psychologically or geographically separated from a safe, affirming church experience, but still long for it. It would be so easy to just post video of sermons and music and call that church, but that's not what church is. We don't want to create Progressive Christian TV or radio. Church is what happens when the preacher shuts up, the lights turn off, and we help each other get through the week in the healthiest way we can. It's like that wonderful Ram Dass quote, "After all, we're just walking each other home."Instead of calling it a "service" or a "sermon" or a "talk," we call it a conversation starter, because it isn't the main event. This is a safe place whether you're gay or straight.
