In our two-part series, Drama Vs Trauma, we conclude by discussing the heavier subject: trauma. It's crucial to distance yourself from those who don't take responsibility for their actions, as drama often starts with sin (Luke 13:4-5, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27). Your spiritual identity should always come before your cultural identity. While some people struggle with their own Trauma, they tend to get involved in others' issues, making problems seem overwhelming at times. In these situations, it's essential to manage them with the word of God, not just your head. Know your limits and respect boundaries.

As we finish our sermon series "The Evidence," Pastor Dennis talks about the final fruit of the Spirit: self-control. Self-control is all about mastery and restraint, in contrast to being impulsive or reckless. Proverbs 25:28 says that without self-control, it's like having no defenses. Self-discipline helps us align with God's will, just as Jesus did. It's often unseen but necessary for long-lasting success. While decisions get us started, self-discipline helps us finish strong.
