Chris Liberto is a father, U.S. Navy veteran, entrepreneur and acting Chief Financial Officer of [Industry Threadworks](http://www.industrythreadworks.com/). He served ten years of active duty service, seven of which were as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician. Starting his first business venture, [Ironsmith](http://www.ironsmithapparel.com/), in 2015 and leaving active duty in 2018, Chris has been driven to help educate, inspire and create a community that is a positive force for change.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technicians have expertise in the most conventional and unconventional explosives to ensure the secure disposal of explosive weaponry. They are on call to respond to any type of ordnance, and they receive specialized training to handle chemical, biological and nuclear weapons.
