When I was a kid, I loved reading Sci-Fi books and one of them, "Dune", by Frank Herbert had a character who had a mantra I have never forgotten.
"I will not feel, fear is the mind killer...I will let the fear pass through me and when the fear has passed...only I will remain."
Not facing your fears will lead you to a life of regrets. To live your best life, you must face you fears and conquer them.
