Hosts Nic and the Captain invite you to grab a chair, grab a beer and join them as they talk some true crime. This is no ordinary garage: it’s a rabbit hole of true crime, with a generous supply of alcohol and banter to lighten the load. From international atrocities to heinous stories on (US) home turf, dive head-first into a different case each week, and enjoy a cold one whilst your there.

West Memphis 3 /// A Harvest of Innocence
Part 2 of 2
www.TrueCrimeGarage.com
After taking a listen once again to our West Memphis 3 case coverage from 2016 we have decided to revisit the case and get some additional thoughts from a perspective not yet heard on TCG. Today we welcomed in Dan Stidham, the Defense Attorney for Jesse Misskelley Jr. Mr. Stidham represented Jesse for many years and at some points was assisting Jason Baldwin as well. He has since gone on to become a highly respected Judge in Arkansas. While he is not a fan of the Alford plea, he remains one of the key figures in this case that helped the West Memphis 3 to finally get released from prison after serving 18 years.

Part 1 - Robinhood Hills Murders
May 5, 1993 between the hours of 8pm and 10pm three sets of parents called police and each reported their son to be missing. It was quickly determined the three 8 year old boys were last seen together and they may have wondered into the woods on the edge of the neighborhood. The following afternoon police pulled the three dead boys from a drainage ditch located in the Robinhood Hills woods. The findings and investigation would be the subject of many books and movies to come.

Leonard Lake and Charles Ng silently terrorized and collected victims in the greater San Fransisco area for about two years. Leonard Lake was a criminal in every way, committing every type of criminal offense that one could think of. He was obsessed with the book “The Collector" by John Fowles. When Lake met Charles Ng, Charles was a fugitive on the run from the U.S. Government. To this day we still do not know how many people fell prey to this California Killer duo.

Customer Reviews
My first true crime podcast I listened too
Love this podcast it was the first one I listened to and I can’t wait for the next episode!
It’s pretty good, but…
I do really like this show and I love that there’s so many episodes and interesting cases but…please please please it’s not “he had went” it’s “he had gone.” Please learn the correct past perfect tense for “go” and others. I notice myself correcting the grammar out loud all the time. Run the script through grammarly before recording. I am not a grammar snob by any means, but it bugs me so much.
All Time Favorite Podcast
This is my all time favorite podcast. I’m addicted to it, and have gotten my mom hooked on it too!
