Needs some work

I’m torn because I do like the storytelling style. Most of the cases I’ve heard before but I appreciate the concise synopsis. There are just so many instances of words getting mispronounced or misused and errors made. It makes me question the credibility of their statements. Payton will throw out an investigation or legal term but use it incorrectly. I assume her accent causes her to pronounce some things weird (ie gel for jail or dill for deal) but sometimes I’ll have to rewind to try to figure out what she’s trying to say. Like when “having to heal” is spoken as “halfing to hill”. Using the word “literally” incorrectly a million times. In the episode about the Papin sisters there were so many errors. The episode started out in the 1920s but then at some point she claims the year is 1993 (I’m pretty sure she meant 1933). She also claimed that the younger sister moved into the house when she was 15 and then seven years later…she is still claiming she is 15. This is just one example, there are similar errors in a lot of episodes. I’m not very far in so maybe they will get better. Can you guys have a listen after recording and then make edits before you push live? I feel like that would fix a lot of these problems.

I am like Garrett and was never into hearing these things but my wife introduced me to y’all and I think I’ve passed her up! Definitely made a fan for life! Can’t wait to catch up and be current with y’all! Supper stoked and ready to buy all the merch for Christmas! I hate it! 😬😬😬😬
