I’ve previously had a more negative review up, but this podcast has, in my opinion, really improved in the past few months. And I was really impressed by the way they covered Adan’s case. Looking forward to more!

I love how Ashley gets to the story without too much side commentary. It’s hard to find TC podcasts that just tell the story. I don’t need to joking and side stories from the hosts. However, Ricky balances Ashley’s serious stories by saying things that we’re all thinking in the midst of the telling of the story, it helps that he’s also funny. Keep up the great work y’all!

I love this show! Voices are soothing. They have a great way of telling the story. Very likable hosts with interesting cases!

This is one of my favorite podcast I have come across. I like the dynamic and conversation between the two and the flow/detail of the stories. I am so glad I found crime salad and have been recommending it to so many people!

This is one of the best true crime podcasts out there. Ashley’s presentation of the material is steady & calm. Ricky adds such charm & comments that make sense. I love that they are always respectful, & love that they sound authentic - they don’t feel the need to act “excited” to present the info, like a hype-up so they’ll get bought. They are just steadily & consistently good. Excellent work, guys! Thank you.

3/1/2025 I am surprised that you’re surprised that you guys are next to shows that you idolize on the rating that you’re at you said like 65 you guys are when I totally favorite shows and I just love crime podcasts. I really really look forward to Crime Salad every single week and you guys do not disappoint. Keep up the good work. So glad I found your podcast! Love your dynamic and layout - you do a great balance of banter and story telling and I’ve been enjoying binging all your episodes over the last few weeks!

These two aren’t terrible but you can feel that they don’t often have much to add with their own thoughts and because there are SO MANY awkward pauses lasting so long that I check my phone to see if I paused the episode. However the worst part is the amount of ads. I’m well aware that ads are a necessary evil for podcasts, but the number of ads feels like it takes up 25% of the episodes, I wish I were lying or exaggerating but I’m not. I recently started an episode in which they talked about crime-con then an ad. By this point we were 10+ minutes into the episode. After 2 minutes into the actual content another add. After a minute of content, literally another add. It’s absolutely insane. I listen to others that start and end with ads, may even have one in the middle, but this one over does it. It makes the whole situation unbearable. I can’t listen to this anymore.

You guys rock! The best part is THE BOND between Ashley and Ricky( who is hilarious btw) I recommend this podcast to all my true crime junkies!!
