Yesterday I mentioned to someone that I used to be a pastor and he immediately asked me if I thought we were in the end times. People ask that a lot in times when there are a lot of wars and chaos and major catastrophes. But when Jesus preached about the end times, he said when there are wars and rumors of wars, don't be alarmed because that's not the end. Did you know Scripture points to certain activities of the Church-good activities-as being indicators of the nearness of the end-- In fact, we can even do things to make the end come sooner.

16–Putting Truth into Practice
The Apostle Paul -and countless others- were willing to suffer torture and even sacrifice their lives to bring the truth of God's Word to you. The only reason you have it is because of what those people did. And we can understand that when it comes to the parts of Scripture that talk about how to become saved. It's worth it to sacrifice everything so that people could go to heaven instead of hell.
