My volcano tweet went viral and I got death threats. I engaged all of them and even had dinner with one of them last night. We ended in agreements. All of them. And that we all have much more in common than we think.

Found this podcast on Twitter... and look what we have here, a comment from Matt on June 6th telling the world that he just wants an opportunity to speak to those who disagree with him. How ironic, because when I was trying to engage you on Twitter you blocked me. Why? Because I was criticizing you and pointing out inaccuracies in your rhetoric. You're a liar who just wants to say that he's open to the conversation but blocks anyone with a disagreement. You are, as you said running for Congress for MY district, I live in Redlands, CA and you blocked me because you couldn't take the disagreement. Maybe this is a one off? Nope, on Facebook I have first hand knowledge of you blocking and deleting content. How do you expect to run for office? You know you can't just block constituents right? You might say I was being kind of a jerk on Twitter, sure, that may be true, I have little tolerance for people lying to me, especially those proposing a run for office in my own district. But before you say that, I'd like you to take a stroll through your own Twitter feed, look at the comments you leave on those you disagree with and I dare you to say you don't do the same.
Just to acknowledge the rest of your rant. It's interesting that you're trying to say that all of these negative comments came after you're George Floyd podcast, George was killed on the 25th, but based on the dates of the other comments and more importantly the content of them it would appear that you made a mistake in asking your facebook friends and family to come check out the podcast, maybe your podcast was most successful when people weren't listening to it.
You're a hypocrite and a liar. If you're truly open to conversation then I expect you to unblock me on Twitter, @LerkinJust

Insightful podcast, I agree with Matt on most topics. I enjoy his passion for positive resolutions and his honest approach.
Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt as they are quick to be negative and degrading!

Welcome to all things Matt.
A podcast that gets called racist for promoting unity.
Sounds fun.
Let’s begin.
At this point, my podcast has more 1 star reviews than 5 star reviews. All the one star reviews came the last two weeks when I openly condemned the killing of George Floyd and called for the officers to all be arrested and charged. Not sure what that’s about, but doesn’t make much sense to me. One of the reviews says “this podcast has racist undertones”.
The one star reviewers are everything wrong with society. They promote division and are the founders of outrage and cancel culture.
TBH, there is nothing I, or anyone, could say to change your minds. You guys don’t want conversation, or clarity, or understanding... you want division. You want chaos. You are not happy. And that’s sad to me.
It doesn’t matter how I feel, or what my thoughts are, or what I do to promote unity. I’m willing to bet if we were to meet in real life, you’d see we have much more in common than we are different.
As for the reviews claiming I am racist... I don’t even know how to contest those exact to say that I am not. And anyone who knows me would say the same thing.
I believe love and unity are the only things that will save this country, and humanity as a whole.
I don’t expect anyone here who left a 1 star review to care about this response. Or care what I have to say. But, at the end of the day, I am actively promoting unity and equality. The fact that racism is still a part of our world makes me sick. I truly don’t understand it. Many of those who are racist believe in God. How can you be racist and believe in God? You are clearly missing the point of Christianity. “Love one another”.
This podcast isn’t for everyone, obviously. If you don’t agree with me when I talk about the need for unity, or the need for us to come together... we will have to agree to disagree. I don’t dislike you, hell... I don’t even know you. But, at the end of the day, if I were to ever meet you, I’d love a chance to talk to you. And to get to know you.
I believe in humanity and in the need for conversation and understanding.
