Andrew Pesina grew up in the backdrop of Southern California Wrestling. Forever vocal about the Southern California Wrestling community and a proponent of “good” wrestling, Andrew would lend help to many of the promotions in Southern California and began to write for SoCalUncensored.com. Like many before him, Andrew was unsatisfied with what was presented in SoCal and opted to make his own way, choosing talent that he felt best represented his vision of SoCal. Epic Pro Wrestling is the vision that Andrew saw all those years ago. Since August of 2022, Andrew and his team have produced eight different events. Featuring many talents in Southern California with very diverse matches that have paid homage to the the past and present of this wrestling scene.

The history of World Championship Wrestling belongs to TKO Holdings, the parent company of World Wrestling Entertainment. WCW closed its doors when it was bought out by Vince McMahon on March 31st 2001. This vacuum in the industry stood for decades as many wrestling promotions efforted to fill the void left by the AOL Time Warner owned WCW. 

But nobody rivaled the WWE quite like WCW. Which brings our guest Brandon Noel for tonight’s special podcast. Brandon Noel, the man behind Destiny’s Comix has spent the last few years preserving the hashtag WCW for hand-painted memories and highlights of WCW. We’re going to discuss Brandon’s love of WCW, his favorite moments, his favorite pieces, and of course the Blood and Paint Kickstarter he has started.

As one of the premiere cruiserweights in Southern California, Chris Kadillak was a testament to high-flying wrestling, done correctly. In many ways, it always felt like Kadillak was the unofficial gatekeeper of the SoCal Indie scene. And the amount of places Kadillak worked was nearly limitless. Up and down the West Coast, be in PWG, EWF, AWS, SoCal Pro, Mach-1, APW, and IWL, and was a regular for the National Wrestling Alliance. Kadillak worked with a handful of the top NWA names in 2008 (The NWA Wrestling Showcase) program that aired on Colours.

Towards the end of his in-ring career, Kadillak was sharing the ring with Jack Cartwheel, Alexander Hammerstone, SoCal Crazy, and Danny Limelight. He held championships with the Empire Wrestling Federation, while still affiliated with the NWA. He held championship gold in New Wave Pro Wrestling, AWS, and Gold Coast Wrestling Federation.
