274 | John 3-4: On the Third Day
Join us as we explore the events of Easter weekend, teach Emily to count fence posts, and enjoy sassy Jesus' nonsensical answers. There's pondering to be done about who wrote John and when, who baptized who, and if Eugene's metaphors add to the story.

272 | Luke 23-24: The Most Pontius Pilate
Despite a slightly different order of events, Jesus meets his end without much on-page suffering at the end of Luke. Leading us to wonder, do Christians glorify his suffering? The potential for a spin-off shows itself, and the hints of what's to come has us excited about Acts, which is coming soon(ish)!

Great Way for Curious Minds to take in A Complex Piece
I have wanted to get the specifics of the Bible down for many years and after listening to other podcasts by these hosts I thought I might like this medium. I really enjoy taking on the sometimes monotonous task that is reading the Bible with these three. Dedeker (spelling) is off-putting for me- kind of dampens the mood at times. I find myself thinking, “okay we get it, you were raised ______ and you know a lot about the Bible.” But otherwise love these hosts and the format for taking in the Bible.
Just what I was looking for!
I’ve been wanting to get familiar with the Bible in a thorough yet low stakes way for a long time now, and this is PERFECT! Already knew I’d like the hosts from listening to their other stuff ;) thanks y'all!!!
Nice
