Meeting 3B - Rutherford ALC vs. Steve Anderson

Greer Apostolic Lutheran Church – Rutherford Road, Greer, SC.
A lay preacher requested audience with the Board of Trustees to bring accusations of the preaching of false doctrine against Steve Anderson, also a lay preacher. The audience was granted on Thursday, September 7, 2011 where Steve was tried in abstentia for the Reformation doctrine he preaches. Steve was invited to Meeting 2 on Monday, September 12, 2011 to answer the charges. The Board voted 5-3 on Monday, September 19, 2011 to remove Steve from the ministerial rotation. The Board then scheduled a special congregational meeting on Friday, January 13, 2012 where the congregation heard the matter and voted 50‐41 to not reinstate Steve as a servant unto them.
