Question 4 - What do I want to do?

Question 4 - What do I want to do?

This question may seem like it should be the last one of the series, but as we've mentioned before, all these questions are pieces for a jigsaw puzzle creating a compass to guide you in the right direction for your career.

In this episode, Trevor guides us through answering this question, how we need to change our mindset and how we view answering this question. We need to think about what we want to happen in our life and what we want to achieve. We need to remember that it is not an exam question that we are answering as it has multiple answers and might also change a lot.

It's important to ignore the voice in our heads saying that we can't do something and therefore ruling out decisions for our future. Find people in your life that will cheer you on and remind you that you can achieve as much as you want.

So, what do you want to do?...

Question 3 - What am I actually good at?

Question 3 - What am I actually good at?

What have you written for your story so far? What have you achieved?

We all have stories to tell right? Yours may feel insignificant now but all great stories have to start somewhere.

In this episode, we delve into the question 'what am I actually good at?'

Trevor Waldock talks us through how we need to dig deep when answering this question. He explains how it's important to ask it before we make a big decision like choosing subjects so that we make the right choice for ourselves.

It's all about looking at the bigger picture and investigating everything we have achieved and how it made us feel so that we can deicide what we want to achieve and try next.

Accepting compliments from others and having confidence in ourselves, doesn't mean we are big headed - it just means we know where our strengths lie. Trevor also reminded us that the voice inside our head can sometimes be our biggest enemy and it's important to know when not to listen to it.

So listen in, let's work out what you're good at...

Question 2 - Where do I want to change the world - The Debate

Sometimes, it can feel like there isn't a chance of changing the world in our own desired way, which is why this question seems so hard to answer.

Question 2 -Where do I want to change the world?

Question 2 -Where do I want to change the world?

What impact do you want to have on the world?

This seems like a very rhetorical question, as you would never be able to live out your answer. However, on this episode you will understand this is not the case.

We'll discover that all we need to do is to start paying attention to the world around us and find out what it is that makes us angry or disheartened; for some of us this could be the lack of response to climate change around the world. For others, it could be different ways to help those suffering in the Ukraine. We will all have different things we want to change.

Trevor Waldock chats through the second question and provides reasons and explanations as to how we can change the world. This may just be in the world around us to start off with, however, we all have to start somewhere and this podcast could just be your starting point.

Question 1 - What do I love? - The Debate

    What do you love?

I'm guesing that the answer can be as varied as loving a friend or family member to pepperoni pizza. Love is such a broad term.

So whilst the question of 'what do you love' seems like a question with a never-ending list of answers, this podcast explores what we truly love. What are we really passionate about?

Join four teenagers who will wrestle with this question. Taking guidance from Trevor Waldock, who identitfied the eight intelligences we all can have, in the previous episode, they will be digging deep and understanding what they enjoy most. They discuss how their energy is focused on the upcoming change in their school life and how this has been impacted by the intelligences they display the most.
