Great for class
Really good way to process my thoughts for my political philosophy class!
Nonsense analysis of Epicurean thinking. . .
Epicurus was not a contemporary of Epictetus. Epicurus predates Epictetus by hundreds of years. Zeno of Citium was a younger, by roughly 10 years, contemporary of Epicurus. Also, the analysis of Epicurean dogma is poor.
Love it!
So far this has been a great podcast! I really appreciate their willingness to look at different interpretations and approaches. It’s a great exercise not just in Plato, but in how to read well. I Really looking forward to seeing what books you guys do next!
