Episode #10 THE FINAL EPISODE OF THE SEASON I speak with Tamara Cohen from Philadelphia about how she got Spanish citizenship via the Law of Return (ie the apology from Spain to Sephardic Jews kicked out via inquisition), we discuss her Sephardic roots from Spain to Turkey to Cuba, we discuss the Ladino Language (Spanish - Hebrew Mix) AND we talk about how she started selling bagels and pumpkin pies made in her toaster oven from her apartment and how that turned into a newly opened delicious physical bagel shop in Madrid named Mazal. Enjoy!

Stand Up Yours - with Claire Jones

Episode #6 - I cross path with Claire Jones who didn't have the easiest adjustment to life and teaching in Spain, but as she says in the episode living in another country had always been her dream so she stuck with it. Stand up comedy was a big reason she stuck around and we talk about how she co-founded her own show which brings veteran comics and newbies alike to the stage. We also talk about making the tough decision to leave Spain after 4 years and what that means for her.

Episode #5 - We cross paths with Natalie Danza.
