Total Depravity Says WHAT???
In this episode I take a look at what calvinists are saying about total depravity in their own words, and then I give a response with references to Adam Harwood in his new book "Christian Theology" and his 6 major views on the subject.
Then I look at Sam Webb and his overall conclusion of calvinism in a nutshell. What does it really matter?

Two Perspectives on God's Thoughts and Knowledge
Divine simplicity: discursive thought and generated knowledge Will Duffy and Chris Morrison
In this episode we explore some tough questions about specific bible passages that seem to indicate God changes his mind, he interacts with his creation, that he is temporal and experiences emotions and growth in knowledge as it relates to both the Old Testament authorial intent and New Testament incarnation. Chris takes the classical position which relies heavily on anthropomorphisms and other phenomenological explanations for texts that seem to show God gaining knowledge, changing his mind, and experiencing change that the classical models may have difficulty explaining.
Enjoy!

John 6:44- Who is able to come to Jesus?
In this episode I take a quick look at John 6:44 and we dive into some calvinist commentaries and non-calvinist commentaries to see what is being said about this verse. Who is able to come to Jesus? Who is drawn of the Father? Is the gospel enough to Bring someone to belief in Jesus?
- In addition to the commentaries, we also take a look at the grammatical and syntax of this verse to see if it supports the calvinist interpretation.

The Book of Revelation- Written Early or Late? James Rochford vs Dr. Dean Furlong
If you ever saw the Hank Hanegraaff vs Mark Hitchcock debate... ...you will be excited to hear that we have been working on and have scheduled James Michael Rochford and Dean Furlong to debate the DATE OF REVELATION.
This may impact one's view of eschatological doctrine via preterism vs futurism. IMO this is the equivalent of Hitchcock V Hanegraaff with updated arguments. You won’t want to miss this.
This took place March 21st @ 2pm cst Here is a link to james’ website supporting the late date.
There is a LOT of excellent material on this website supporting the late date. https://www.evidenceunseen.com/.../ju...
Here is a link to Dean’s website supporting the early date. He also did his dissertation on the subject and is VERY well-versed in the arguments for and against and early date. https://deanfurlong.com/irenaeus-domi...

Customer Reviews
So helpful
I am very grateful for each episode because the listener is always challenged to think and examine what he believes and why he believes it. I am especially thankful for the KJV / TR discussions. A few years ago, I would have decidedly avoided anything to do with persons preferring the KJV, comparing them to the Flat Earth theorists. Now I have a much higher respect for those who use the KJV - even KJVO scholars. I am honored to be indebted to Jeff and others for their scholarship, who engage without shouting and name-calling.
