We have our first ever guest! We hear from Ernest Cleo Grant II, a pastor in Camden, New Jersey with a PhD from Stockton University who has written for publications like Christianity Today and Desiring God, about some of the struggles faced by his church during the pandemic and after the George Floyd Protests. We talk about our favourite bible verses and hear what Ernie he says about being a Christian during these times, and how white Christians can do better in supporting Black people in America.

How Christians Should Respond to Black Lives Matter | Live From Quarantine #5

How Christians Should Respond to Black Lives Matter | Live From Quarantine #5

Everyone has heard of the Black Lives Matter movement and knows about the political unrest currently happening in our world. As Christians, how should we respond to a movement like this? How can we tell where there is true injustice happening? And what should we do about it? What does being a Christian mean in an era of BLM, protests, and seeking justice? It's a much more serious topic than usual, but Alex and Katie try to answer these questions and more on this week’s episode of Religious War.

"Live from Quarantine" is a bonus series of Religious War seeking to deal with some of the current events occurring in our world through the eyes of faith. Episodes will be released weekly.

Can’t stop listening to this podcast

Alex and Katie bring such an interesting perspective to the table. They really make me think about things in a way that I really had never thought about. Many of these discussions are simply not being had in the church and it unequivocally fills that void. Can’t recommend it enough. Subscribe and see for yourself!
