What does God use to change us?

Today I want to share with you guys about 10 things I was praying for and talking to God about in April 2023.

Here is a brief list of what I will be talking about today.

1.) Prayer to receive his great mercy and patience. Isaiah 54:10

2) Commit your thoughts to God and your works will be established. Be aware of the things you are doing so you can have the right thoughts about it.

3) God is growing my perseverance, character and hope.

Today I want to share with you guys the biggest insight I had in March 2023: my anxiety was tied to my fear of being abandoned that began as a child. I should probably do another Podcast talking about this so you an understand.

Today I won't be getting into all the nitty gritty of how the abandonment issue occurred but I will share with you guys the process God used to helped me uncover the root of my issue.

I also discuss at the end how God has blessed Scott and I because we choose to live by our priorities: us being the primary influence in our children's life. It has not always been easy but we are now reaping the benefits of our years of sacrifice.

Are you rebelling against God?

What do I mean by that? I bet I won't be talking about it in a way you expect: willingly working against God. Rebellion is much deeper than this.


What is rebellion? Resisting control

How does God gain control of your life?

How good are you at receiving?

Have you acknowledged what you need from God?

Are you being an actor?

Let's ask the deeper question: Are you willing to receive good from God?
