We need to redeem the time as the passage in Ephesians 5 states BECAUSE the days are evil. It is vital as believers that we learn to discern. We need to acquire wisdom so we can walk in truth. Wisdom is word based and God given. We learn it from the word of God and ultimately from the God who gave us the Word. The Deception of Perceived Lack Amid God's Abundance

"And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil." (Genesis 2:8-9)

In the garden of Eden, God provided Adam and Eve with an abundance of blessings. They lived in a perfect paradise, surrounded by beauty and provisioned with everything they needed. Yet despite dwelling in the midst of God's generous abundance, they became fixated on the one tree God had instructed them not to eat from.

The tree of the knowledge of good and evil stood at the very center of the garden. Adam and Eve had to walk past all the good trees God gave them in order to reach this tree of perceived lack. Rather than gratefully partaking in God's bountiful provision, they chose to focus on the one limitation. Deceived by the serpent, Eve "took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat." (Genesis 3:6)

How often do we make the same mistake as Adam and Eve, focusing on perceived lack rather than on the abundance of blessings God has given us? We must guard against the temptation to always yearn for the things we don't have, thus missing out on gratefully enjoying the many good things we do have. As Paul reminds us, "godliness with contentment is great gain." (1 Timothy 6:6) Let us keep our eyes fixed on God's gracious provision rather than becoming ensnared by deceptive perceptions of lack. For if we delight ourselves in the Lord and the abundance He provides, God promises He will give us the desires of our heart. (Psalm 37:4)

     The Foundation of Truth

"Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." - John 17:17 (KJV)

In a world where the concept of absolute truth is increasingly dismissed, we find ourselves adrift in a sea of relativism. Norman Kissinger from Redeeming the Time Brothers Ministries brings to light a cultural phenomenon that has permeated our society: the rejection of truth. This denial has not only affected the spiritual realm but has led to a broader cultural collapse, where even basic realities are questioned.

The Bible, however, stands as a beacon of truth in a world of shadows. John 14:6 (KJV) declares, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." This profound statement encapsulates the essence of our faith—Jesus Christ is the embodiment of truth, and through Him, we gain access to the Father.

As Christians, we are called to embrace this truth wholeheartedly. It is not enough to delve into the depths of God's Word; we must also grasp its basics. The average believer's illiteracy in Scripture has led to ineffective Christian living. We must return to the fundamentals, for it is there that our foundation is solidified.

John 1:14 (KJV) reveals, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."The law, given through Moses, was a precursor to the ultimate revelation of grace and truth through Jesus Christ (John 1:17). To serve God is to serve Him in truth, acknowledging our sinful nature and need for a Savior.

Salvation hinges on the acceptance of truth—the sinlessness of Christ, His atoning sacrifice, and His ability to save. Denial of these truths renders salvation impossible. As bearers of truth, we reflect Christ's character, becoming more like Him in thought, word, and deed.

Let us, therefore, seek the Lord in prayer, asking Him to reveal the truth within us, no matter how uncomfortable it may be. For in acknowledging our flaws, we also recognize our need for His grace. As we grow in truth, we grow in Christlikeness, becoming beacons of truth in a world that desperately needs it.

May this week be one of reflection and growth as you delve into the truth of God's Word. May you be blessed and become a blessing to others as you live out the truth of Jesus Christ in your life.

    Prayer:

Heavenly Father, sanctify us through Your truth. Your Word is the truth that guides us, the light that illuminates our path. Help us to embrace Your truth, to live it out daily, and to share it with a world in need. In Jesus' name, Amen.

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6, KJV)

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As believers, the foundation of our faith is the truth that comes from God Himself. We serve a God of truth, whose Word is true and guides us through life. As the Lord Jesus declared in John 14:6, He is the embodiment of truth.

In Joshua 24:14, we are exhorted to "fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth." This has profound implications for how we live out our faith. First, our motives must be pure as we serve God. We cannot put on a facade of religiosity while harboring wrong intentions in our hearts. God sees through any pretense. Our service to Him must flow from a sincere desire to please Him and do His will.

Second, the message we proclaim must be faithful to God's Word. As ministers of the gospel, we have a solemn responsibility to "rightly divide the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15, KJV). We dare not twist Scripture to suit our own agenda or tickle people's ears. Even if we speak with great eloquence or perform mighty works, it profits nothing if we do not stay true to the Word.

In these times, much of what passes for Christianity is a far cry from biblical truth. Motives are impure and doctrine is compromised. May this never be said of us! Let us pray that God will purify our hearts and fill us afresh with His Spirit, that we may serve Him in both sincerity and truth. Only then will our lives and ministries be pleasing to Him.

    Your fellow servant in Christ,

    Norman Kissinger

How Can We Be Holy #RTTBROS #Nightlight

How Can We Be Holy #RTTBROS #Nightlight

How Can We Be Holy  #RTTBROS #Nightlight

1 Peter 2:9** - "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:"

    How can we be Holy?

Think of God's holiness as a bright, perfect light that never dims or fades. It's always pure and good, making everything around it look better. That's how God is—always perfect, loving, and pure!

Now imagine yourself as a colorful piece of glass. When God's light shines through you, it makes your colors even brighter and more beautiful. That's what happens when you choose to follow God and be like Him—His holiness helps you shine brighter and be more beautiful too.

But sometimes we do things that make our glass a bit dirty or cloudy, making it harder for God's light to shine through us. That's when we need to ask God for forgiveness and help to become more like Him again.

So, our holiness is like letting God's light shine through us, making us more beautiful and good, just like Him!

To avoid legalism and keep your pursuit of holiness relational, remember these points:

    1. Focus on Jesus and becoming more like Him, rather than just following rules.

    2. Emphasize the role of God's grace in enabling us to become holy.

    3. Seek to understand God's heart and why He wants us to be holy—because He loves us and desires intimacy with us.

    4. Be honest about your struggles, asking for forgiveness when you make mistakes, and remember that holiness is a lifelong journey.

Let me emphasize that holiness is a loving response to God's grace, not a way to earn His approval. It's about deepening our relationship with God and allowing Him to transform us from within

    Unshakable Foundation

    Unshakable Foundation Deut 32:4  #RTTBROS #Nightlight

The Unshakable Foundation of God's Truth

"He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he." (Deuteronomy 32:4, KJV)

In a world where the very concept of truth seems to be crumbling, it's crucial for believers to anchor their lives upon the solid foundation of God's unchanging truth. As Moses declares in his song, our God is a "God of truth," and this fundamental attribute sets Him apart from the lies and deception of the enemy.

The battle we face is not merely against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness that seek to obscure and distort the truth. By manipulating what people perceive as truth, the enemy can control their actions and lead them astray. As Christians, we must stand firm on the revelation of God's Word, trusting in its validity and sufficiency for every aspect of life.

The Psalmist echoes this confidence in God's truth, proclaiming, "Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth" (Psalm 31:5, KJV). In times of uncertainty and turmoil, we can entrust our very lives into the hands of the God who cannot lie. His Word becomes our anchor, providing wisdom, guidance, and stability when everything else seems to be falling apart.

As we navigate the challenges and decisions of life, let us remember that we serve a God of truth. May this knowledge strengthen our faith, shape our worldview, and empower us to live as uncompromising witnesses for Christ. In a culture of confusion, may we be unwavering beacons of God's eternal truth.

Prayer: Almighty God, I thank You that You are the God of truth. When the world around me seems to be in chaos, I choose to anchor my life upon the solid rock of Your Word. Give me discernment to recognize and resist the lies of the enemy, and grant me boldness to proclaim Your truth in a world that desperately needs it. In Jesus' name, Amen.
