He is skilled in organizational development and change, leader and leadership development, building high performance teams, executive coaching, facilitation and assessment.  Doug served for over 22 years in the Air Force where he held varied roles such as scientist, professor, psychologist, director, among other roles.  Since leaving the military, he has worked for several higher education institutions, businesses, and consulting organizations developing leadership programs and educational courses focused on executive education and development.  In addition to his consulting and coaching, he is the Executive Editor for the Center for Character and Leadership Development at the United States Air Force Academy.  Doug earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science from the United States Air Force Academy, his Master’s in Experimental Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and his PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with a focus on Leadership from the Pennsylvania State University.  He has over 125 publications and presentations on leadership and is a sought after speaker regarding organizational dynamics, leadership development, and coaching.
