It's important to recognize that being nice or good, in the context of people pleasing, is not our ultimate calling. Jesus, Himself, did not prioritize being perceived as nice or good.

God created the world in Six days and on the seventh day He rested! What does this connote? It shows that God took his time to build, mold and shape the Earth. Six days might seem small as it isn't even not up to a week! thereby making the creation story unbelievable. Yet the Six days depicts time, energy, resources and intentionality by God to create something out of nothing. It shows that the creation story is not one borne out of impulse but out of thoroughness and care of which puts us in awesome wonder at his deeds. In relation to our lives, how often do we hand over the wheels of our lives to this same God to handle, control and aid?

You are not a mistake you were thoroughly and deliberately thought off and created and it is expected that you put God first so you can conquer all limitations that you might encounter. Because you have the Affirmation in You!
