Listening to Justin be himself and bring nothing but realness with a heavy dose of sass has been such a great listening experience. People like Justin and a few other bakers have truly inspired me to continue with baking and bringing joy to peoples eyes and stomachs with my creations. I loved the talk of minority representation in baking and even in other fields of work and bringing attention to the fact that there aren’t many well known minority bakers. I fee that you and Porsha are waving that flag for us and aspire to be as talented and well known as you!
I like big cakes
And I cannot lie! Justin serves up the most delicious treats on his episodes! I love the sweet sound of his voice after a long day of work! My cheeks hurt from laughing so hard at his sassy personality. Such a wonderful surprise can be found each time I turn on this podcast that leaves me wanting more (that’s what she said). So proud!
He did it all for the cookie
A great baker or pastry chef is sometimes referred to as an artist- and Justin Salinas is certainly that. But Justin is more- he is an entertainer. I am lucky enough to have attended several of his live “cake night” and “cookie night” events and there is nothing else like them. This podcast is the next best thing. Sure, you won’t end up with beautiful cookies or a cake to take home, but those are available elsewhere- the real magic comes from the man.
