Ep. 27 | Interlude: Justice for the End of Times
In observance of Black History Month, Sarah dedicates this episode to all the Black spiritualists, hoodoos, conjurers, healers and medicine keepers who, despite everything, keep the tradition and the magick alive. You deserve the world. One day, may the world deserve you.
In the wake of her personal Tower season, Sarah takes a silent retreat in Joshua Tree, CA to get right with the Spirit of Justice. Pulled straight from the archives of Sarah's audio journal, she shares her reflections on spiritual justice, ancestral intervention, and the unchecked violence of white supremacy as she process the gap between the justice she deserves and the justice that's materially available to her.

Ep. 23: Judgment
Some seasons are for f---ing around, but Judgment is when you get to find out! Sarah begins this episode with a firm call-in as she contextualizes this archetype in a conversation about Juneteenth, economic justice, community care, and reparations as a form of spiritual work. She then goes on to discuss the relationship between accountability and reciprocity, the difference between review and rumination, escaping indecision purgatory, and everything else that goes down at the center of the crossroads.

Customer Reviews
Precious offering!
Dear Sarah- I just discovered your podcast and I’m beyond grateful for the artful and exquisite medicine you share with us. Your style of weaving storytelling and teachings speaks directly to my soul and heart. You are such a precious gift, much love and appreciation!
My favorite tarot podcast by far
Sarah puts so much work into these episodes and the day they drop I make sure I listen when I can be present with a notebook, because there’s so much packed in. The episodes aren’t too long, they’re as long as they need to be. I appreciated the research and mixed resources, theologies, and cultural folklores and narratives that go into each episode. I revisit episodes as sacred text when I need a shift in perspective.
Dare I say, the best out there!
I’ve been reading tarot for 7 years now, and reading about reading tarot for even longer. I enjoy deep dives into the history of the tarot’s archetypes and this podcast does just that , Sarah delves DEEP! I am constantly moved by both the breadth and depth of Sarah’s unique associations and readings of each tarot card. This is a truly interdisciplinary/ trans disciplinary approach to the tarot’s archetypes. Sources are drawn from music theory, somatic practices, lived experience, afrodiasporic spiritual tradition, pop culture and so much more. Every time I listen to an episode I think to myself “somebody give this person a book deal!” Thank you Sarah Cargill for your labor in pulling this together for us all! As a black, queer, trans Nb spiritualist this podcast is a complete dream.
