S3 Ep. 7 Dog Shaped Lightbulb

It's obligatory talk about Star Wars week, May the 4th be with you and all that cantina jazz. Then it's from the red sands of Tattooine to the newly booze soaked sands of Dubai as we discuss Oktoberfest’s new desert home. Also Craig and Martin analyse George W. Bush's art exhibition and ask whether right wing art is among us or out of this world? And finally, will forty thousand pound beach huts lead to Martin's dream of a Waitrose by the sea?

S3 Ep. 5 Tits and Dragons
Ahoy there! There's a veritable smorgasbord of culture in store today; the pomp and tradition of a royal funeral, the launch of some horrifically awe-inspiring TV anniversary merch and lastly the enormous hoo-hah that is the football Superleague - a subject which these two know extremely little about but are extremely happy to discuss. Let the football chants commence!

Covid’s very own silver lining.
Somewhere nestled inside the horror that is ‘2020’ sparkles this little gem of an achingly funny break down of the ‘geist’ of our ‘zeit’. Clearly feeling no need whatsoever to have assay of any one of the cultural events they go on to discuss, Armstrong and Miller here promote the idea that ignorance might not only be bliss, it can be downright hilarious. From Martins mangetout harvest with its attendant legal squabblings between his ‘land girls’ (Cora; isn’t she the one who looks just like Sir Keir Starmer?) and his unexpected Romanian Immigrants regarding living wages to Craig’s Covid imposed quarantine in a Holiday Inn Express in Algiers, this delightful romp will not only give you permission to laugh at our Coronavirus induced frailties and predicaments, it will indeed insist upon it. Notable characters also include Keith of the Worshipful Wood Preservers and Craig’s overly pampered (though one quite possibly already dead, but Craig has yet to notice) cats; Catatonic and the hairless Catamaran. The latter of which has a serious case of the ‘rona herself.
If you’ve ever listened to BBC Radio 4 and found yourself bristling at the pretention, you will find Timeghost to be the perfect antidote.
Another conversation without focus
It's another one of those podcasts where two people have a rambling conversation that's only of interest to them.
