#16 Making Christ Real in the Home

Our conversation this week is about “Making Christ real in the home.” As
Orthodox Christians this is an important question: How do we make Christ
real in our homes? It is so easy to just become Sunday Christians where,
Christianity becomes to some people at least, something that they do on
Sunday only. What about the rest of the week? Their ways, attitudes,
language and behavior may be far away from Christianity completely. How
then do we make Christ a central part of everyday family life? Tune into
our conversation to learn more about this important subject.

Generous, gracious, committed, searching

Bishop Suriel’s choice of topics and guests opens doors for those like me who are relatively new to learning about Coptic people and culture, as well as the Coptic Orthodox Church.

A new way to “taste” orthodoxy

It’s very pleasing to find a podcast which presents the Coptic Orthodox faith in a unique way by keeping the listener engaged. His Grace does not lecture or give a sermon, rather he leads interesting and engaging discussions with many prominent speakers. HG provides a means to keep the listener “on their toes” waiting for the next segment/episode. It is through this podcast that we can “taste and see that the Lord is good”

Moving Coptic Discourse Forward!

An amazing podcast that put "all things Coptic" into a perspective that aligns with, individuals, not only Coptic Christians, from all corners of the globe. His Grace Bishop Suriel’s soothing voice and charisma pull in the listener as they prepare to embark on a journey into Coptic History, patristics, iconography, family topics, and so much more. His personable disposition makes it easy to leave the trepidation associated with interacting with clergy checked at the door. Furthermore, the audio and video quality are superb. The 4K quality specifically makes for a stimulating visual experience. Thank you so much for this amazing service that, I am sure, will personally benefit my spiritual life in countless ways. I cannot wait to see what discussions await us in the future!
