New Wine Uncorked: Living Truth of Faith - Authentic or Artificial?

What does it mean to live faith today? And is this the same as what it meant yesterday? or even last year or ten years ago? What does it mean to live faith authentically? Faith today seems to produce more questions than answers, more doubts than certainties, more concerns than security. What does it mean to live Christ in a real, authentic manner that is not fake or artificial?

Today’s dialogue jumps into such questions as the aforementioned, and then some…

Recorded live on Fridays at 10am (pst) on YouTube, New Wine UnCorked seeks to step into culture with a heart bent towards engagement, reconciliation, and relationship.

Redeeming the Bat out of Hell in me and you through the act of becoming love

Redeeming the Bat out of Hell in me and you through the act of becoming love

    www.new-wineskins.org

Peacemaking comes when we seek to act in love. Action that comes in Christ through the Holy Spirit. Christ took Action and stood for change dying for our sins because of His deep love for us.

In the truth of redemption there is found a radicalness unparalleled throughout history. That is, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is such a lover of the other, He seeks out those who are at once passionate persecutors of Him and His people. He seeks them out in love in order to redeem the bat out of hell in me and in you. It is an act of transformation - in Christ, through the Spirit. Transforming the persecutor into one passionately pursuing love (story of Paul, me & you).

How is the follower of Christ to act in a time when love of self is a powerful force?

Trinitarian Bridge-building from Racism to Peacemaking

     www.new-wineskins.org

Welcome to New Wineskins on Clubhouse where we seek to build relational bridges through Jesus by engaging relevant subjects. We have been talking about Trinitarian Theology as bridge building from racism to peacemaking.  We have previously defined Trinitarian Theology, among other things, as being the relationship of self-giving, other focused love of God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit one to the other from before the beginning and to us in Jesus Christ.  For those of us who have a Trinitarian Theology as a core life value, that Trinitarian love we talk about should be pouring out to the other in and through us.  During this Lenten Season as we HEAD TO THE CROSS Let us face Christ in HIS TRAUMA AS HE Becomes Our PEACEMaker - Christ took Action and stood for change dying for our sins because of His deep love for us   So as we continue talking about belonging and what does peacemaking look like in the context of racism KEEP CHRIST’S JOURNEY TO THE CROSS FOR US ON OUR HEARTS AND MIND
