This episode we catch up with DC based King Ricky Rosé about their conservative upbringing and their drag influences. Then, we chat with The Dragon King, an Oakland based Quing-King about their journey with gender identity and what its like being a performer with a disability.

In the time of BLM and the conversation on racial justice as well as the conversation on placing value on ALL lives in the Black community, this work is especially important. For Colored Girls give us the chance to reflect on the Black experience- through its many joys and many pains- whether that is a lived experience or one viewed through proximity. It is my hope that these performances resonate with you and serve as encouragement to value, honor and center the voices of Black and POC femmes, always.
