Be So Others Can See - Ep 4 - The Decolonisation of Midwifery Education
Join me for the fourth and final instalment of my project. I'll be sharing my thoughts on decolonising midwifery education. What does it mean to me? How can we do it? Why do we need to do it? This topic set me on the path I am currently on. While it can be lonely at times, I know there is value in this work. For students, for midwives, for women and birthing people and for society as a whole.

Be So Others Can See Project Ep1 - Each One Teach One

The phrase Each One, Teach One is an African proverb that originated in the United States during slavery when Africans were denied education. When someone learned how to read or write, it became their responsibility to teach someone else. The idea is to spread knowledge for the betterment of your community.

She's back! It's been forever so this is me reintroducing myself. I managed to survive the battlefield that is 2nd year of my midwifery degree, but came out the other end with more that I expected. Hello leadership journey and ADAH diagnosis!! Let me catch y'all up on these ups and downs real quick.
