Hello again fellow Golfists,

I really enjoyed watching the final round of The Masters with Mr Producer.  It was so awe inspiring to watch Scottie Scheffler win his 2nd Green Jacket at The 2024 Masters Tournament in Augusta Georgia.  His performance on that day showed me that he had a 15th club in the bag that gave him the confidence to be able to tackle any and every shot that was presented to him during the Final Round.  His patience and his ability to improvise on the golf course during that final round was better than anyone else in the field and set him up to have a dominant four shot victory.  

Jim Nantz and CBS also did a brilliant job on their documentary highlighting Jose Maria Olazabal, before the final round started on Masters Sunday!!

Hello again fellow golfists, 

I watched a bit of golf last weekend and it was a great victory for Scottie Scheffler.  He got a new Taylor Made mallet putter and he was really rolling the rock really well at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and won the tournament at 15 under par.  

I shared a bit of time with Mr Esch and viewed his huge golf collection that is up for sale on Facebook Market Place.  He has a series of videos highlighting the items that he has for sale in the Northern California / Sacramento region.  

I think the NBC guys did a good job this week televising and commenting on the golf that is the buildup to The Players Championship next week.  I hope the winning score is below 10 under par, but I doubt that will happen.  

Time change sucks.

Hello again Fellow Golfists, 

First of all, thank you for downloading and listening to any of my golf related podcast episodes.  I hope that listening to any of these golf episodes helps you thrive throughout your day in one way or another.  I try to be a bit irreverent and I try to tell it like I see it.  

I got to visit a putting green on a Sunday afternoon in-between the final 2 NFL football games of the 2023-2024 NFL season while gale force winds were moving through south western Placer county on what should have been the final day of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Am Pro from the Monterey Peninsula.  

In this episode, I share a bit of commentary on what I experienced while spending close to 2 blissful hours on a putting green on Sunday afternoon while practicing my putting stroke in gale force winds.  This was my way of  trying to practice with 2 new to me putters, a BeCu Ping B60 and a BeCu Ping B61 putter.  And also a Ping Pal 4 BeCu that I bought on OfferUp and a Ping Pal 4 BeCu putter that double TKG podcast guest, Jesse Parra, graciously sent to me.  

I also offer a bit of commentary on the so called "West Coast Swing" on the PGA Tour.  

Even though the winds at the Sierra Pines 9 hole golf course were ferocious I still enjoyed my time getting to know how these great putters felt in my hands.

Hello again fellow Golfists, 

I am now a believer in the Karsten Solheim / Ping way of putting.  For years I have never been able to use a Ping style putter the way it was designed and intended.  After 40 years of perseverance I can now say that I can putt much more consistently with a Ping putter.  

I had an outing with a Ping B63 putter at Mather Golf Course and made a video that is up on my YouTube channel: The Knackered Golfist.

Well I was practicing with a Ping Pal 4 BeCu putter at Thunder Valley Golf Resort and it went well.  I don't know if I cracked a putter code or anything but it sure seems that I was putting a bit more consistently with my Ping Pal 4 putter.  I also made a video of my session on the youtube channel.
