Episode 31: Dealing with Burnout and Overcoming It

Episode 31: Dealing with Burnout and Overcoming It

For our last episode of season 3, we talk about burnout. Being in our 20s, we sometimes feel as if we always need to be doing something in school, at work, or even just on weekends. But this idea of constantly having to do something can very easily lead to burnout. Join us as we each share our own experiences with burning out both socially and professionally, how we try to stop ourselves from feeling that way, and what we do to get out of our slump.
We’ll be back late fall for season 4 where we’ll continue to share candidly about all the highs and lows of navigating adulthood. Thank you to all of our listeners and for all your continuous support throughout our journey! During our break, you can catch up on the rest of Adulthood Pending or follow us on social media and be the first to hear of any and all updates.

Episode 28: Starting Med School, Working Remotely, and Adapting Back to Normal Life

Since the start of the season, we’ve embarked on many changes that we’ve touched on in previous episodes but never dove into. With Brittanee starting med school, Annalise moving back to Boston, and Kimi working from home in a new city, we wanted to spend some time discussing how we’re navigating these new experiences. Hear about the competitive nature of med school, what it’s like acclimating to life in a new city during the pandemic, and the pros & cons of remote work life.
We’re dedicating this episode to anyone else who just started school, moved out of their parents house, is working their first full time job from home, or is going through a big new chapter in their lives!

Fun, lighthearted and insightful

This podcast is fun and very relevant to lots of people, not just post graduate students. It’s insightful getting to hear the perspectives of these 3 recent grads and how life is going. They are honest, forward thinking and thoughtful. A great listen!

Heartful podcast alert

I’m so excited for the future episodes... I loved how deep the conversations were among the three recent graduates. They all share insights from their own personal lives (ex: one is job hunting, one has a job, one is applying to grad school), and as a recent grad, I gravitated to each of their stories. I can’t recommend this enough if you’re looking for a down to earth conversation with people who are navigating life after college.

Constantly Insightful

Brittanee, Annalise, and Kimi are very self-aware and socially conscious individuals— we all have a lot to learn from them! Love how they give such honest insights into their thoughts/challenges as new adults
