Evil Dead (2013) & Evil Dead Rise (2023)
On today's episode, Naomi and I discuss the quasi-remake/reboot of 1981's The Evil Dead, Evil Dead from 2013. We also share our thoughts on the sequel that premiered in April 2023. In my opinion, both movies are equally terrifying and gory and wonderfully written while also doing the original trilogy justice; this was a fun watch.

Recommending Bands Vol 7
Hello, all you wonderful people. I must say, this is slowly becoming one of my favorite things to do. I love recommending bands to you all. This week's episode will discuss In Search of Solace, thrown, and Blood Youth. I did cover Blood Youth before, but the audio was corrupted, so that I will discuss them again. The Menu and Velvet Buzzsaw Movie Recap

We have a return!!! Kari is back! She returned to the podcast to join me in discussing two movies. The 2022 comedy horror The Menu and the 2019 satirical black comedy horror film Velvet Buzzsaw. Both movies take a critical take on the art world and the culture of high-end dining. Few people enjoyed Velvet Buzzsaw, but I may be among the few who did. The Menu, however, had raving reviews from critics and audiences alike. Bring out fine China, look at some fine art, and remember to Stay alternative.

Remembering our youth
I actually listened to two episodes and going in I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was seriously entertained. Our host basically fills you in on her life but does it in a way that takes you back to your youth. All while listening to her talk about topics she loves. See I listened to her “why I love pro wrestling.” It seriously felt like I was there with her talking about why “we” love it. This show really reminisce about your youth. Also I listened to an episode that featured her friend and it just reminded me of my friends and I, our lives growing up, and going to high school. I was truly engaged in what they were saying. 5stars!
