Our God is relational. In 1 Samuel 16:7 it says, "The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." In a world that focusses its attention on how we appear outwardly, God is concerned about how we look on the inside. He is profoundly aware and invested in the health of our hearts. The truth is, sometimes the circumstances of life can turn our hearts hard, bitter, hurt and complacent. The Old Testament Book of Ezekiel works as a guide in turning our hearts into ones that are alive to God and his purposes for our lives.
Join us at Compass as we begin a five week series in Ezekiel called "A New Heart", as we discover together how to have hearts that burn for God and lead us closer to Him."
