From the moment I tuned into the first part of elden ring lore, and host talked about his relationship to it and other games, how this is the Ocarina of Time for a new generation, setting the tone with gathering in the hold of the Tarnished round table for story time… I knew this was for me, and anyone else who is looking for that “warmth”, intrigue, passion, and kinship in our love of Elden Ring’s rich world. Interesting pieces of lore, with personal stories sprinkled about, and analyzing what all is going on make this podcast a blast! Thanks!

The only reason this podcast gets any stars because it’s about Elden Ring. This guy is a terrible interviewer, he goes on about five tangents in the middle of a question. Then when he finally gets a question out the guest has the opportunity to talk for a maximum of five seconds before he’s interrupting them. To top it off, NOTHING he says is worth hearing.
Extremely frustrating and annoying. Someone else needs to create an Elden Ring Podcast so we have something to listen to besides this.
What a game has to say about living
Full disclosure, I have never played a Miyazaki game. But the friendly hosts of this podcast certainly have!
I tuned in to check out my favorite twitch streamer debut as a guest on this pod (shoutout ShinyCherrim) and was roped into the dynamic and category-sweeping dialogue and analysis from the best kind of people: those who are really passionate about something. Their commentary touches on contemporary art, philosophy, history (real and fictional), without getting so niche or pedantic that someone who isn’t immersed in this franchise or it’s lineage would get lost.
Certainly, if you (listener) are an expert, you would find all of the nuance and insight you could hope for from these sage connoisseurs, but for me I stuck around much longer than I thought I would waiting for the next nugget of unexpected wisdom or delightfully savvy real-world analogy, which was inevitably just around the corner.
Who knows? I might end up getting Elden Ring for myself! (Or at least tuning in to a stream)
