How to Convince a Christian that Lord of the Rings Isn’t Full of Forbidden Witchcraft
Decades ago, when Dungeons and Dragons first got started, there were a fairly large number of Christians in the United States who thought it (and many other fantasy properties) were dangerous and anti-Biblical. That was always based mainly on a misunderstanding, and you’d think by now that would have been cleared up. I recently found out, though, that there are still people who think even Lord of the Rings is somehow religiously dangerous….
My video on the ways in which Lord of the Rings is fundamentally Christian is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AWD7UWsn4w

What Would Have Happened If Frodo Had Died in Moria? Who Knows!
A viewer asked me in an email what I thought would have happened if Frodo hadn't been wearing Bilbo's mithril coat and had instead been killed in Moria. I tried to come up with a response, but as it turns out there are just too many possibilities, so instead I made this video describing my thought process and why "what if" questions can be dangerous roads to travel.

Lord of the Rings Book vs. Movie: The King of the Golden Hall
Peter Jackson’s take on the confrontation of Gandalf on the one hand and Theoden and Grima Wormtonge on the other drastically changes the nature of what is going on in the scene. Some of that is somewhat dictated by the medium of cinema, but some of it is...not.

An Extremely Nitpick Review of “The Fellowship of the Ring” Part 2
Continuing my extreme nitpick of Peter Jackson’s epic trilogy, we discuss terrible movie tropes, inexplicable events, and bad character decisions. Apologies for the audio and video issues; I tested the setup before I started but it still came out weird for some reason.

Customer Reviews
Well done, much appreciated!
So much time and effort goes into making these along with the
YouTube videos! I am specially fond of the elvish pronunciations and explanatory videos about the languages of Tolkien. You explain it quite simply as the appendices do.
Great lore podcast
This podcast is great! What makes it so wonderful is that it delves into lore analysis. So many really good points!
Great channel, great podcast.
This guy knows his stuff, has good ideas, everything’s great about delivery. I found this because of the YouTube channel, which is even better because there’s more material. Who’s down-voting the podcast?!!
