Turn off the Lights
It's time for our May news episode. There are acquisitions, lawsuits, and Microsoft may be changing the console landscape, while Sony wonders what exactly they are doing. Also, LEGOs are expensive.

Name that TV Show
Today's episode features bulging muscles and television references (and absolutely no negative references to Scientology). Ryan has been playing Shredder's Revenge and Josh gives a brief introduction to Hogwarts Legacy.

Point of Order
WELCOME to the April News episode of the Dead Tired Dads Podcast. In this episode Josh gets free stuff, and debate rages over Game Informer's selection process for the greatest game of all time (even if the outcome is accurate).

(Latte) Cereal Killer
In this brand new Dead Tired Dads Podcast episode Matt returns (and this time you can hear him!). There's a lot of talk about Street Fighter II, Street Fighter the Movie, and Street Fighter the Movie the Game (it's confusing but that's ok). Ryan reviews Persona 3, Josh sorta reviews Myst on Occulus and Hawked, and Matt reviews the new Battle Royale mode in WOW, then talks about Unicorn Overlord, and reviews Final Fantasy VII for the Switch. This episode is chock full of nuts so get some.

Do NOT Eat Raw Meat
Welcome to the March news update! Josh realizes that he wasted years not eating enough bacon. Also, Matt rejoins the podcast (but there were some audio issues...so he's hard to hear). Also layoffs are happening in the gaming industry, there's a new X-Men Cartoon and an official announcement for a new Mario movie, and fast travel is bad...unless it leads to a new possibility for a micro-transaction. SERIOUSLY, DO NOT EAT RAW MEAT!

Eat Your Vegetables and Play Video Games
On this very special episode of the Dead Tired Dads Podcast, Josh discovers his hidden desire to start a hockey team in Kentucky. The Dads also learn that playing video games is actually very good for you and can be educational. Daniel relays information from a study that sheds light on how video games are actually good for you. Josh talks about how video games have helped him be a better musician and discusses the subscription based Rocksmith+. Ryan talks about using captured monsters to build factories in Palworld.

Exposure to new games
I don’t game much due to a busy schedule but when I do game I tend to stick to the same usual games like MLB The Show, FIFA, Fallout 4, and Red Dead Redemption. Through this show I’ve been exposed to different games that I would never even think about downloading before and am now creating a list of games I need to check out. Thanks for the show, fellas!
Doin’ all the things!
I’m commander Shepard and this is my favorite podcast on the citadel
Good show
I like the short format, I can listen, y'all get to the point and tell me what I need to know about the games. Perfect for a busy/dead tired dad.
