I have listened to Jared for a couple years now and for the most part he produces some great content. He loves the lord and finds lots of practical wisdom for us dads. I really appreciate his ministry and I have recommended this podcast to several guys but I don’t know if I will continue to do so in the future because some of the guys I disciple are new believers or in hard situations. I don’t know if I can recommend this channel due to Jared’s view of the church and how he would be affecting young believers, or people that have had a bad experience at church. The Bible is clear on the roles of leaders in a church and the accountability and structure a biblical church provides. And from several of Jared’s podcasts he has discouraged what the church is and what it does. I understand some churches do not follow the biblical principles but when a beloved teacher is bashing the “North American church” and saying church only cares about power and not loving people, it saddens me because he could be pushing people to not go to church and be fine with forsaking the body of Christ. I have talked to several believers who believe the same thing as Jared and I have seen them cut themselves off from church and isolate themselves. And sadly it has in my experience led to a worse relationship with the lord as they cut themselves off from discipleship opportunities. Christian encouragement and accountability. And teachers of the word. God uses the church to grow us and it should not be bashed. I will still listen to Jared. But I can’t endorse him to young Christians because It would break my heart if people decided to not go to church or have a bad attitude at church due to Jared’s influence.
