The Bible says Moses was a man of God mighty in word and deeds (Acts 7:22). Joshua was his assistant for almost 40 years and eventually took over for Moses. It is noteworthy that God repeatedly tells Joshua not to be afraid but commands him to be strong and courageous (Joshua chapter 1). Come to Rockwell Church to be encouraged to find strength and courage as you move into the new seasons and opportunities of your life. It is also a Sunday we recognize graduates and there will be cake served after the worship service.

As Jesus was talking to the Samaritan woman the disciples were off getting supplies. When the disciples arrived, Jesus shared that his food was to do the Fathers will and in John 4:36 we read that Jesus stated, “The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike!” This section of Scripture encourages us to tell others about Jesus to experience the joy of working with the Lord, fulfill your God given purpose, and to see eternally significant results.Listen and be encouraged to prepare for a rewarding spiritual harvest.

Jesus went out of His way to talk to the Samaritan woman (See John 4) and shared with her that the Father is seeking worshipers who worship Him in spirit and truth. Is that the way you relate to our Heavenly Father and teach others to worship Him? Be encouraged to become more effective in worshiping and helping develop new worshipers the way God desires.

John 3:16-36. New Life in Christ should lead to freedom from sin, guilt, and condemnation. True conversion should give us a heartfelt desire to live to please our Loving Savior. We will continue to look at John chapter 3 and see how we can become free to live for Jesus. Even our former Hibbing neighbor Bob Dylan realized that “You’re gonna have to serve somebody, it may be the Devil or it may be the Lord, but you’re gonna have to serve somebody.” Come to Rockwell Church and be reminded and encouraged how to find a new sense of freedom in Christ and gain confidence to help share that good news with others with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Every Christ-follower should be able to answer the question, “How do you know that you are truly saved?” Answering that you said a prayer or walked down the aisle at religious service is not a sufficient answer. In John chapter 3, one of the most loved chapters of the Bible, we read of God’s incredible love and the gift of Jesus who made it possible for those who place their faith in Him to be forgiven and saved from the penalty of sin. Come to be reminded and encouraged how to be secure in Christ and gain confidence to help share that good news with others.

Celebrate Jesus completing His mission to conquer sin and death, lighting the way for believers to obtain eternal life. Our Savior revealed His plans, showed how much He cares, and shared that future believers would be blessed as we applied and shared the Gospel.
