Hey family, I'm happy to say that this Sunday, April 28, we will host one of our favorite speakers, Pastor John Fils-Aime of Central Baptist Church in Manhattan. I will be out of town with my family so please welcome him with open arms! Pastor Fils-Aime is a wonderful man of God and will bring a powerful message. Service starts at 10 a.m. and so does iGnite Kidz, our children's church for ages 5-12.

"I'm exhausted, tired, need a break, stressed out... " These are all words to represent where many of us are even when we're in Christ. There are issues that face us and people that drain our lives, and the question is, not will it happen, but what will I do when it happens. This week we're going to talk about being renewed by Christ even when the whole world seems determined to drain us. Please come and bring all of your stressed-out friends. Service starts at 10 a.m. and so does iGnite Kidz, our children's church for ages 5-12.

ou don't have to be much older than 4 before you realize that there are some things you wish you had not done and some things that you wish you could do over again. Sometimes in life we do get a do-over and make things right with other people, but other times we find ourselves having to live with choices we wish we hadn't made, damage we wish we hadn't done, and regret we wish we didn't have to feel. How then, should we respond to this?

That is what we're going to give ourselves to this Sunday. We'll learn how God plays a part in our healing, even as we bring our regrets to Him and don't neglect our own responsibility, in everything from a misspoken word to having an abortion. Easter is also called Resurrection Sunday--the day Jesus rose from the grave. By doing so, he demonstrated his victory over death, and his power to forgive us of our sins, past, present, and future.
When we accept Christ as our savior, we begin a new life. Join us tomorrow as Pastor Edwin returns from sabbatical and leads us in a joyful and solemn celebration of Easter. 10 a.m., 360 Schermerhorn St. Please bring your kids ages 5-12 to attend iGnite Kidz church, also at 10 a.m.
