The Bible states in Hebrews 4:14 that "Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Jesus has been there… dealt with temptation of all kinds.
What kind of help is Jesus offering? The help that people with weaknesses and temptations need. Jesus is available to help us when we are tempted.
In this series, we will cover:
1. Whom we are to serve. Satan will tempt us to sin or to serve him and / or our flesh. We must understand his tactics
2. What is Sin. Satan desires us to believe there is no devil; hence we wont resist him. Satan desires us to believe in our “Own truth." It is truth or it is not!

Humility, The Path to Promotion - Part 2

In the Kingdom promotion comes only from God, and His requirement for
promotion is humility. We can only go as far as our faith and humility will take us.
If we reach a ceiling in our humility, we reach a ceiling in our promotion.
Proverbs 22:4 - By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.
There is a reward that comes from humility. If you want riches and honor, humility is how you get there. That is a very different perspective than how the world thinks.
What does humility look like?
Matthew 23:11-12 - But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
