Finding Healing Through Integrative Medicine The Nurse Keith Show

    • Careers

On episode 465 of The Nurse Keith Show nursing and healthcare career podcast, Keith interviews Jocelyn Johnson, MSN, RN, the author of A Path Forward: My Journey to Find Healing Through Integrative Medicine. In the course of their conversation, Keith and Jocelyn discuss the book, which is part memoir and part guidebook on successfully healing cancer via a holistic approach, including a raw foods diet and spiritual practices geared towards transformational healing.
Jocelyn Johnson, MSN, RN, is a clinical nurse specialist in mental health with over twenty-five years of clinical experience. After a brief career in aerospace engineering, she pursued health and spirituality interests and moved into a nursing career. Her continued studies included functional medicine, Kundalini yoga and meditation, Buddhist perspectives in consciousness, and therapeutic nutrition. These viewpoints of mind, body, and spirit health grounded her unusual holistic cancer success story.
With retirement from clinical practice, Johnson's focus is on sharing the tools of her health recovery. She hopes to empower others to curate personal well-being and to foster change in how cancer is viewed and treated.
