Finding Your Course Idea Part 2 | Episode 72 A Counselors Journey To Private Practice

    • Careers

Today's podcast episode is about coming up with your course idea. I absolutely love that you are considering creating an online course, it's only fun and a completely different experience compared to the therapy room.

Before you get started with your course, consider reflecting on the questions below. The questions will help to guide you in identifying the course idea or topic:

What are you good at?Who is your ideal client? What is your favorite clinical service to provide? What pain points do you address? What pain points do your clients seek support in?
If you get stuck with coming up with your course idea consider a typical counseling session. Take time to evaluate the following:

How does your client find their way to your office? When your client completes their intake documents what do they typically write for the section of presenting problem or reason for seeking therapy?
