Essential Listening for All SLPs

This pod is set apart from others because of the host’s willingness to put a spotlight on challenges in the SLP community and their commitment to helping us overcome them. They do a great job at celebrating wins and keeping listeners updated about where they are with efforts to make the CCC truly optional. This grassroots movement is the first to really take off and each episode leaves me feeling more empowered and excited about making contributions in my own state and community.

Fix SLP

I (Kevin) was brought on the podcast this past week and I can’t say enough about Jeanette and the Fix SLP foundation that’s been established. From her welcoming presence, to the education, even to the willingness to learn from others makes this show and platform one of my favorites. Honest, deep conversation stems from a true heart to get to know the individual and proposing ideas that shift the narrative to a BETTER speech community. I IMPLORE the fresh CF slp, the newbie grad student, the tenured professor, the seasoned vet slp and everyone in between to tune in to the podcast, give a follow, and donate to a cause that is not only making a difference, but is making history and bringing everyone along for the ride. Kudos Fix SLP.
