Holy Week in Luke's Gospel - More Temptation, More Swords, More Failure, More Jesus
In this episode, Pastor Ken and Kyle continue in their look at Holy Week in Luke's Gospel, by looking at more of the events of Maundy Thursday.
Jesus faces more temptation. The disciples bring up their swords again and this time, use one of them. As in the upper room, the disciples still fail to see the Father's will which Jesus has set himself to do. Jesus also quashes the earthly attempt to rescue him from his imminent suffering and death. Instead, he heals a man injured by his disciple's zeal and takes one step closer to saving the world from sin.
